Original pastel painting of cat in the island of Santorini. The sea line looks awry because the paper bent when I used brush and some water with the pastel. I should have used a water color paper. I'll see if I can flat the paper and take another picture.
About Cybele Chaves
Brazil. Most of my art subjects are cats, animals that I love and admire. I also like to depict birds and some nature scenes. Recently, due to the fires in Australia, I 've drawn my attention to the koalas whose population is severely threatened and is likely to face extinction if we don't act now.
